July is the best time to be in Armenia, because although it's hot (mainly in Yerevan), it's the best time to discover Armenia's nature, as by discovering nature you discover yourself

The majority of Armenians spend their holidays in Sevan Lake as the water is at its best temperature in July. Sevan lake is surrounded by Geghama mountains; the view from the mountains is amazing (great opportunity for photographers). The highest peak of Geghama mountains is Azhdahak (3597m), it's an extinct volcano. It's a great place for culture and archeology lovers, as there are many old pictographs on the mountains. 

Dilijan is the next favorite place of Armenians to spend summer in July as it is rainy and breezy there. If you love forests, rain and fresh air, you'll love Dilijan, too. 

If you're an extreme lover, then Yell Extreme Park, located between Yenokavan mountains, is a great place to have an active rest and good memories. ZipLine is one of the popular activities in Yell Extreme Park. The length of the lines are different, starting from 135m to 750m. The height is 200-300m above the ground. Children love it, adults love it, you'll love it, too.

Another extreme experience is waiting for you in Tatev. Not only you can be in a historical monument built in 9th century- Tatev Monastery, but also you can have a ride in an aerial tramway, which is world's longest cableway (5752m), recorded in the Guiness Book of Records.

Weather is very hot in July in Yerevan, but in regions it is mainly breezy. If you’re a sun and warm weather lover, then Armenia is waiting for you.

As it is hot in Yerevan in July, indoor activities, such as going to museums, concerts and other events, are the best. Yerevan has lots of cultural, historical and archeological museums. The most popular museum is Matenadaran. It holds the history of written cultures of Armenia and other nations. It has collected about 23,000 manuscripts, including almost all areas of ancient and medieval Armenian cultural and sciences. It also has manuscripts in Arabic, Persian, Greek, Ethiopian, Syrian, Latin, Tamil, and other languages.

There are many concerts not only in pubs with a fee, but also open-air and free, happening in July in Yerevan. But the center of music is Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet with its astonishing architecture.
