Day 2: Yerevan city tour, Vernissage market /15-20km/
After breakfast at the hotel meet your guide and start your day with city tour: Yerevan - the city which is 2800 years old! The history of Yerevan dates back to the 8th century BC, with the founding of the fortress of Erebuni in 782 BC. The tour will be bus and walking. After the tour free time for exploring the city at your own. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3: Khor Virap monastery - Areni village - Noravank monastery - Goris /260-270km/
After breakfast tour to Khor Virap - one of the most popular destinations in Armenia. From here you will have the best view to the biblical Mt. Ararat. Continue tour to Areni village and visit to winery for wine degustation. After you will visit Noravank - a 13th-century Armenian monastery, located in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River. The gorge is known for its tall, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. Noravank was the residence of the Orbelian princes. Continue tour to Goris town and overnight at the hotel in Goris.

Day 4: Tatev monastery - Old Khndzoresk village – Karahunj - Goris /110-120km/
After breakfast tour to Tatev monastery - a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau. You will reach the monastery by the longest ropeway in the world TaTever. Continue tour to old Khndzoresk cave village famous for its ancient cave buildings in which people lived almost until 1950’s. After you will visit Karahunj or Zorats Karer /Armenian Stonehenge/ - a prehistoric archaeological site near the town of Sisian located on the mountain plateau having altitude 1770m. Drive back to Goris and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Selim caravanserai – Noratus cemetery – lake Sevan & Sevanavank – Dilijan /320-330km/
After breakfast tour to Selim caravanserai located 2400m above sea level. This is one of the preserved caravanserais which was used for overnight for trading caravans that lead the way through Armenia to Europe and the East, the so-called Silk Road. Noratus is the largest cemetery of ancient khachkars, leaving one of the strongest impressions about Armenia. Continue tour to lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank a monastic complex located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. Drive to Dilijan resort town and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Haghartsin – Tsaghkadzor – Yerevan /120-130km/
After breakfast city tour in Dilijan town – one of the picturesque resort towns in Armenia. Take a photo stop in Sharambeyan street complete with craftsman’s shops, studios and museum and continue tour to Haghartsin monastery (13th century). Drive back to Yerevan and on the way visit to another resort town – Tsaghkadzor. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 7: Geghard monastery– Garni temple– Fruit&food market /100-110km/
After breakfast tour to Geghard cave monastery (12th—13th centuries) - another incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain. Though the monastery has been around since before the 4th century, the main cathedral was built in 1215. Geghard monastery is listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the village Garni in private house master class of Armenian traditional bread “lavash” backing. Continue tour to Garni temple (1st century AD) - the structures of Garni combine elements of Hellenistic culture, which is an evidence of antique influences and the distinctive building traditions of the Armenian people. Back to Yerevan and visit to food&fruit market which is well set out with a beautiful array of dried fruits, nuts, local homemade sweets and etc. perfect for gifts back home. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
